A tradition since 1983, Stamford's mayor, along with his hand-picked team, plays a softball game against the Board of Representatives and other elected officials. 2012's game, played on Thursday, July 19, was played at Boccuzzi Park (formerly Southfield Park) in honor of former Board of Representatives member John Boccuzzi.
